Unlike traditional extinguishers, this unit uses a solid-state Strontium Nitrate-based compound that transforms into a rapidly expanding aerosol upon activation, flooding the protected zone and neutralizing the fire chemically. Unlike traditional external fire suppression systems, GQRR is designed for fire prevention and equipment protection at valuable electrical nodes, and its extinguishing point is closer, resulting in faster fire suppression.

Scientific Fire Suppression Mechanism

The core agent utilizes Strontium Nitrate (Sr(NO₃)₂) (Content: 50%~58%). Upon thermal activation via the fuse, a chemical reaction occurs:

2Sr(NO₃)₂ → 2SrO + 4NO₂↑ + O₂↑

This process extinguishes fire through three main pathways:

  • Chemical Inhibition: The Strontium Oxide (SrO) particles interrupt the chain reaction of combustion radicals.
  • Suffocation: Inert gases released dilute the oxygen concentration around the flame just enough to stop burning.
  • Cooling: The endothermic decomposition absorbs heat from the fire source.

Note: Chemical inhibition and suffocation are the primary extinguishing methods.

Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Device is a solid chemical mixture composed of an oxidizer, reducing agent,combustion rate controller, and binder, Upon electrical or thermal activation, it undergoes an oxidation-reduction reaction, generating a large amount of condensed fire-extinguishing aerosol, The metal salt particles within the aerosol absorb significant heat at high temperatures, thereby lowering the flame temperature and inhibiting the combustion reaction. Simultaneously, under thermal influence,the vaporized metal ions and cations in the aerosol engage in affinity reactions with active radicals in the combustion process, repeatedly consuming large quantities of active species and efficiently absorbing free radicals in the flame, resulting in chemical inhibition. The presence of N2and CO2 in the extinguishing aerosol reduces oxygen concentration in the combustion zone. Through the combined action of multiple mechanisms-both physical and chemical the agent achieves effective fire suppression. Furthermore, the aerosol, consisting of solid particles enveloped in extinguishing gas, remains suspended and dispersed over extended periods, reaching every corner to enable highly efficient total-flooding fire suppression.
